Love
There are some realities about God’s love:
It’s quite unlike the love of humanity, for the most part
It’s faithful, always
It’s unconditional, not based on us
It’s fulfilling, never leaves us wanting
It’s merciful, spares us of faultfinding
It’s generous, endless in nature
It’s available, in every life season
It’s pure, no perverted motives
The thing about us and God’s love is that we tend to humanize its origin. It’s easy to shape our ideals of love on our past experiences or regrets. But, regardless of our history, God’s love doesn’t change. It is forever & always godly, faithful, unconditional, fulfilling, merciful, generous, available, and pure.
Because God’s love is constant and not based on who we are, the decisions we’ve made, the things that have happened to us, or the heartbreak that consumes us, we can rest in the reality that God is not disappointed with us. He’s not angry at us. He doesn’t have it out for us.
God is very much lovable.
We are wanted by God.
The craving of our soul is solely satisfied with the intimacy from the Lover of our soul.
God loves us.
And you are loved fervently by Him.
